MASS PRODUCTION AND QUALITY CONTROL
Once all the patterns and sew samples are made, inspected and reviewed for any possible adjustments and the decision is made to go into mass production other factors need to be keep in mind. Lead time, production time, minimum order quantity and quality control need to be considered.

LEAD TIME AND PRODUCTION TIME

Lead time is the time prior to the production of your garments. It is necessary to allow the manufacturer time to finish other projects on the go but also to ensure all the necessary fabrics and materials are ready for the mass production. Lead time can vary anywhere from 1-4 weeks on average with our manufacturers and supplier but this is also dependent on your material choice and timeframes if there is special production required. Production time follows lead time in which the amount of time it will take to produce all of your order. Production time can range from 8-12 weeks depending on the complexity of your pieces and size of your line.

QUALITY CONTROL – CUSTOMISED CHECKLIST

Quality control is the most important aspect of any mass production phase. If this process is not overseen very closely on a regular basis, the quality may diminish overtime when dealing with other manufacturers. This is never what anyone wants. During the mass production phase, we will utilise our specialised quality control checklist. This will ensure a high standard of quality if met. With utilising our services as your agent, we will use our specially designed quality control checklist on a weekly basis to 10% of all garments manufactured. In addition to the weekly inspections, a final random inspection of your garments will happen prior to shipping. If the total amount of pieces in your production is less that 1000 pieces, we will check every single piece. Once it goes over this amount, we will check 75% of the production.

PACKAGING AND LABELLING

We can take care of your packaging and labelling needs before it is shipped to your preferred location. We will ensure that all garments are individually wrapped in a clear plastic sleeve before they are shipped. They will each be marked indicating the size as well as a description of the garment.

If you require special branded packaging before shipment, we can arrange to have it produced here in Bali. We are able to have our suppliers produce additional packaging such as business cards, hang tags, receipt envelopes, paper or satin bags, flyers, stickers, branded ribbon, brochures, wrapping paper, and boxes. LABELING

We can have all of your woven labels as well as your clothing care labels attached by the manufacturers and produced by our suppliers. We will have them attached to each garment before shipping. This will save you time and money. In addition, we have suppliers that can produce your swing tag labels so that once you receive your garments; you do not need to worry about opening each packaged piece and attaching them yourself. We help you to produce your designs while overseeing the entire process from beginning to end – we are the experienced clothing manufacturing specialists who work for your business.

Below are CMAB’s two package options. Please choose the one that fits your specific needs.

OPTION 1: SAMPLES PACKAGE
This is for you if all you want to do is produce samples without going into full production.
Your samples will be produced in RFD (ready-for-dyeing) in the correct fabric.
This will be a replica of your garment, for 1 size only, without prints or embroidery, to check for stitching, fabric performance, structure, fit, etc.
Once these samples are approved by you, test printing and dyeing of fabric swatches can begin. Additional costs and extended timeframes may apply depending on the manufacturer.
Marketing / Photography / Sales samples can be created upon request but additional costs and extended timeframes may apply depending on the manufacturer.
OPTION 2: PRODUCTION PACKAGE
This package is for you if you would like to go into the full production of your garments.
In the Production Package, samples production as stated above in the Samples Package is automatically included. This means that if you subscribe to the Production Package, you will not need to subscribe to the Samples Package as well.
Size grading will be completed once your production is confirmed by you.

We provide all of our clients great service. To help us do this there are certain things we will require from you. Here are a list of what you need to proceed in working with us.

In order to get started now, you will need to make sure you have the items below:

Detailed spec sheet with measurements and supporting images – If you don’t have spec sheets, click here to download.
Patterns – If you have these already made, we can use them. This will save you time.
Physical samples mailed to us – If you don’t have spec sheets but have physical samples, we can work from them. This will also speed up the pattern making process.
Any supporting images, sketches, drawings, photos or computerised renderings.
Types of fabrics and materials – Be as specific as possible.
Screen or digital printed patterns/designs – These files will need to be provided in PDF, JPEG, AI or PNG format set to scale for repeat printing.

We will be able provide you quotes based on having all of these items. Without them, we will not be able to provide you accurate quotes.

Additional items that you need to proceed after we provide you the quotes are:

Sizing Chart – There are so many different ones so to maintain accuracy, providing us one of your choosing will ensure correctness of size grading.
Brand logo/tag – Provided in PDF, JPEG, AI or PNG format set to scale.
Swing tags – Provided in PDF, JPEG, AI or PNG format set to scale.

We cannot work from minimal description or simple images for other designs found online. This will not suffice.

*Part payment must be made in order to start your production.
**For printing and embroidery you need to provide us with the high resolution graphics files in PDF, JPEG, PNG or AI format.
***MOQ will vary depending on your choice of fabric, colour and printing.
