There are various types of hat models that you can choose according to your needs and desires. Both materials, types of screen printing and embroidery can be tailored to the demands and needs of consumers.
Once you provide us with your detailed design drawings and supporting images we will help create the patterns and samples for you. Patterns can be created on a thin tissue like paper or a a thick stock paper . These are the templates that will be used to cut the fabric to make your sew samples. Sew samples are the first attempt at having your design turned into a physical garment. Once this sample is made, minor adjustments may be necessary and if not then this will be used as the “blue print” for your clothing in mass production. During the process of making your patterns and sew samples, we will use RFD fabric; this is “ready for dying”. It is a slightly off white colour and the base for adding your own colours or prints. In the sampling process, you want to ensure the sew sample is correct before you move onto the testing of colourways or printing of fabrics.
WHAT ARE COLOURWAYS?
Colourways are all the “colour options” that you will produce your garments in. For example black, blue, green, red, and yellow; this would be 5 colourways. Almost all fabric can be dyed to whatever colours you desire. Keep in mind however, certain fabrics can have MOQ of dying from 30m to 1000m, depending on the fabric itself. We will be able to advise you of these and suggest alternatives.
WHAT IS SIZE GRADING?
During the sampling process, we will help by having the manufacturers produce your sample in 1 size initially. Making additional changes to the samples may be required so it is best to wait until 1 size is perfect before grading. Size grading will be done by the manufacturers free of charge after the samples have been perfected and there is also the commitment of a production.
We will require you to provide us with a sizing guide you are happy for us to use. There are many variation in sizing guides from country to country, we suggest using one from a clothing line in which you like the fit of their clothing already.
